Northern Lights

There are times when solar storms occur on the surface of the sun producing magnetic plasma radiation which travels to earth creating a beautiful display of light called the "Northern Lights." A severe solar storm occurred on the sun on Sunday, March 15, reaching the earth on Tuesday producing a spectacular show for those who saw it.
